What can I use to make this all as easy done as it is with Windows? FWIW, these are open seat lab machines in libraries and such that are part of an Active Directory. To make all of this even worse I have to get to that Mac Mini (on campus) from Windows 10 (at home). I have tried to sneak AnyDesk onto the Mac Mini I use to manage endpoints from, no unattended access there I have to click the okay button on the remote machine. My leadership drank some Kool-aid called Beyond Trust (Bomgar), it is more like Beyond Trash, it works sometimes, and doesn't other times. ARD has to be refreshed all the time to have it pick up any machine that has had a status change since ARD was last opened. I have been made into the Mac Guy in my department at my university.Īpple remote Desktop is a flaky piece of shit, I can literally be looking at the remote desktop and the ARD console will tell me the machine is off.
